Scott Polisky

My specialty is helping international students prepare for and adapt to the challenges of American-style higher education. I have a number of years of experience teaching academic writing and rhetoric to multilingual students at UC Davis, and university preparation to international students at UCLA Extension. I am especially good at helping non-native speakers of English to raise their scores on the the GRE and GMAT, write effective personal statements and application essays, and understand what university professors want to see in student assignments.

As for my own education, I studied Politics and Theater as an undergraduate at UC Santa Cruz, and Greek and Latin Literature as a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University and USC.

Louis See

Hello! My name is Mr. See, and I look forward to being your instructor! My background is in teaching high school social studies and test preparation courses in a one on one environment, as well as at the university level. I have an extensive background in writing graduate level essays as well, so if you need help with grammar, structuring and argument, and understanding university applications I am well versed in this as well.
